Military Video Streaming & Recording
VEEstream is a small, rugged, low bandwidth, video processor that
can stream the video image over any IP network. The video signal is
also recorded within the unit for later retrieval.
Based on proven low bandwidth technology
LVDS / PAL / NTSC video input
Designed and manufactured in the UK.
Streams using RTSP IP stream to any compatible PC, tablet or
smart phone
User selectable stream rates upto 3Mb/s
Extendible for dual stream
Optional serial control of connected items
Continuous evolution
All settings for the unit are made via simple web pages with only an on
/ off control on the unit.
The VEEstream unit can be powered from any DC supply from 4 –
16V. Other power options are available.
Streaming
Streaming live video provides a significant increase in command and
control effectiveness allowing commanders to have instant video
footage to improve their decision making.
The video is sent as an RTSP stream that allows standard video
playback applications to be used. Integration with customers existing
applications can also be completed.
Currently a single stream is supported; however the architecture has
been designed to support two simultaneous streams. For instance this
would allow both a high quality stream and a lower quality, lower
bandwidth stream to be sent simultaneously.
Recording
The unit is fitted with 8GB memory (Options upto 64GB). This allows a
high quality recording of the video for future – non live – retrieval. The
video can be downloaded via the units web page. At highest video
quality settings, the unit can record over 24 hours of footage, the unit
then automatically deletes the earliest files
Camera for Situational Awareness
Systems
The Miniature Vehicle Camera (MVC4560) has been designed primarily for vehicle mounted close-in
situational awareness work. However, the MVC is a versatile, inconspicuous unit with many other possible uses, including covert surveillance applications.
The MVC measures a mere 100mm x 50mm x 50mm and weighs only 0.25Kg
The Housing contains EMC filtering to allow the unit to meet the stringent EMC requirements required on military vehicles and a heater for low temperature use
The MVC4560 uses a CCD sensor board camera.
The colour version has 1 lux sensitivity at F1.4 and 520 line resolution
Lens options from 45º to 60º Field of View available
Based on similar fielded designs, the unit is designed to meet MIL STD 461F, 464 and 810F
Time Synchronisation for Military Vehicles
The Intime247 unit uses Network Time Protocol to synchronise the time for all computer systems on a vehicle. All log file entries, video overlays, database accesses, user log-ins and any other time based
activity, will be fully time synchronised to the InTime247 unit. The benefits include:
Improved information reporting
Improved security and usage auditing
The unit uses a GPS feed to set its internal clock This single time value is circulated over the vehicle network to any other equipment. If the GPS signal is unavailable the unit will provide an internally
generated clock. It is designed for mounting onto wheeled vehicles and is designed to
be fully compliant with the latest environmental and EMC specifications.
The InTime247 builds on Cheltek’s long history of designing and building high-quality military systems. Our vehicle systems have been used by the UK MoD for many years and currently see service in
some of the most demanding theatres in the world. The unit weighs less than 1kg and can be easily mounted within a vehicle.
General Vehicle Architecture
The InTime247 unit can be GVA compliant and can form part of a Generic Vehicle Architecture system.
Positional Option
Optionally, positional data can be output over the network. This data includes:
Position,
Heading and
Speed
This option uses the Data Distribution Service.

HIGH PERFORMANCE DAYTIME CAMERA
Chelteks standard TV camera, offering truly stunning performance in a small lightweight and ruggedised military grade housing. The housing has been designed specifically for reliability in demanding environments. The cameras are designed for use within high vibration environments such as that found on wheeled and tracked military vehicles. The unit is built to comply with the relevant sections of DEF STAN 59-411 and DEF STAN 00-35.
The MZC is engineered for fanless cooling, vibration and shock isolation as well as protection against fluid contamination, dust and sand ingress.
DESCRIPTION
Chelteks zoom camera represents the very latest optical performance in a compact housing. With an integrated zoom 36X lens, the camera offers an incredibly versatile range between wide angle and telephoto fields of view. Coupled with this, the very sensitive Sony EXView HAD CCD, allows images to be captured at a minimum illumination of as little as 0.1 lux.
Electronic removal of its integrated IR cut filter enables the camera’s sensitivity to IR light to be improved, enabling truly remarkable images to be obtained at night when used with an IR illuminator.

DESCRIPTION
3M – PELTOR Ear Defending headset are of particular use to those who have to communicate in environments with high background noise levels, for example vehicle noise, equipment fans and other areas with high ambient noise levels.
Peltor has a long-established reputation for a wide range of ear-defending products.
The H79 headphones have been in use in high ambient noise environments for many years and have an established reputation for effectiveness and comfort during extended use. They comprise two high-attenuation earcups with soft foam- and fluid-filled sealing rings with built-in pressure-evening channels for effective sealing. This model uses a headband, which is a padded stainless-steel spring design. The MT7 noise-cancelling microphone is fitted on an easily adjustable boom, which may be unplugged from the cup for easy replacement.
